Information and List of attendees for Tuesday May 12th, 2009, 2.30pm.

This event is sponsored by CADRE

The Centre for Art, Design, Research and Experimentation (CADRE) was estalished in 2006 within the School of Art & Design at the University of Wolverhampton, to provide the context for stimulating, managing and developing world class Art and Design research  in the areas of:  Art, Design and Creative Technology / Art, Society and Environment / Art, Practice and Critical Theory / Material Design and Applied Art.

Our theme for this month is 'You'.  We want to know how social media has worked for you, or how you hope it will work for you. Hearing from everyone is the sort of thing we can only do before the BCSMC gets too big, so now seems the best time to do it.

We aim to have a quick turn around the room with everyone just giving their name, job, and a quick example of how social media has worked for them (either professionally or socially), followed by a short discussion on what we have heard. Not only will this help people find others within the group to talk to, but it will hopefully be used in the promotion of the group. We will film those who are happy to be filmed (there will no cajoling) and put the videos on the web site to show visitors the eclectic mix that makes up the Black Country Social Media Cafe.

Our Facebook event page is a great place to tell us if you are attending.

The event will be at our Wolverhampton venue; a cafe/bar in the centre of Wolverhampton with free WiFi.
